Cast out your bait, return your gear to the rod holder and secure your Reel Alert to your spinning reel. The Reel Alert can stay on your reel after setting the hook as it will not impede the line coming into your spinning reel. However, you can easily remove the Reel Alert after your fish is hooked.
The light stick lasts for 4 hours, is waterproof and is a standard sized 1 ½ inch mini glow stick used for other types of strike indicators. Glow sticks are available in bait shops but we recommend that you purchase glow sticks from The Fish Element. The glow sticks that we have available have been field tested with other glow stick products and are, in our opinion, the brightest glow sticks on the market.
You can set up multiple rods at night, attach a Reel Alert to each spinning reel and be able to see each Reel Alert from as far as 50 feet. Sit back and relax around the campfire and wait for the Reel Alert to spring into action.
Accurate Strike Detection
Never before has there been such a simple and effective way to determine strike activity with such precision in darkness or low light conditions.
Attaches Directly to Your Spinning Reel
The three prongs of the Reel Alert attach securely to the top disc of a spinning reel. The disc diameter should be between 2-1/4 inches (57 mm) and 3-1/8 inches (79 mm) for best results.
NOTE: To preserve the flexibility and form of the attachment legs, remove Reel Alert from your reel when not in use.
High Visibility Plastic
The Reel Alert is lightweight, weather resistant and extremely durable.
Assembles in 3 Easy Steps
1.) Secure the glow stick into the clips of your Reel Alert.
2.) Snap the cap in place.
