The Needlefish is a staple of many surfcasters bag, and the 247 7" Needlefish better be there too.  A favorite at Montauk, the 247 Needlefish is thru-wired and built with Rosco swivels and split rings.  Features 2/0 VMC treble hooks.
These wood needlefish are evenly weighted to provide a slower, even sink than most other similar sized needles. This can be a key factor if you're fishing shallow areas where other needlefish would drag the bottom.

A nice, slow and steady retrieve is recommended. Adding a tap or twitch to your rod during retrieve can add a subtle move to entice a strike.
