Although seemingly elegant in their simplicity, the Hogy Surface Eraser serves a purpose. The ability to bomb out a small profile pencil lure that mimics small baitfish. Given the scarcity of some larger baitfish these days (like bunker), bass have moved to feeding on smaller profile baits regularly like sandeels. These are an excellent solution to those far out bonito or false albacore - or those typical Fall days where you may be fighting a headwind!
